Cutwise 2026.6.0 grades the color of uploaded and Cut Evolution solutions, gives fancy color diamonds a precise Cutwise grade you can search by, and shows running tasks on the product page.

Highlights

  • Color grading. Rough Color Grading grades the color of STL and ASC solutions you upload and of Cut Evolution solutions. The spectrum can come from a ViBox 2.0 shadow model, so no external model scanner is needed. Every graded solution shows its FCRF subgrades and FCRF price. The Cutwise fancy grade has a digit subgrade, for example Intense Yellow 7, and a color name by ISCC-NBS, and the grade scale shows how likely the grade is. You can filter and sort stock by FCRF grade, color strength and uniformity. See Rough Color Grading.

  • Task progress. The product page shows the status and ETA of the product's running tasks. The ETA shows a date when the task will finish on another day. Raising the priority of a task is in beta.

  • Catalog. Photoreal images carry a RENDER mark, so a render is not taken for a photo. Virtual diamonds carry a Plan or Design badge: Plan is a solution prepared for a real project, Design is a cut design with no set size or grades. A Scan is an existing polished diamond and carries no badge. The Stage filter selects any of the three.

Other changes

Color grading

  • Fancy Color Grading uses ProPhoto colors, and renders support ProPhoto.
  • Renders use the ViBox 2.0 capture presets, so their colors match the ViBox 2.0 photos of colorless and fancy color diamonds.
  • Rough Color Grading grades the sample cuts. Solutions are graded on request.
  • The product page has DZ Color Grade and Fancy Color Grade buttons. A button is hidden when the service cannot start.

Clarity Plotting and Brilliant Story

  • Clarity Plotting and Brilliant Story start on a shadow scan, and Clarity Plotting works on a ViBox 2.0 shadow model.
